great fall whimsy!
Did you write the poem? And draw the picture? You brought back memories of Oz... I haven't seen that movie in SOOOOOOO long!
Snowcatcher- I did draw and color, (actually picked the drawing up again after a few years) and finished it yesterday! I got the idea from a children's book...and threw the poem in (my own just this morning) to go with Mr. Scarecrow....I'm quite the fan of scarecrows...and have quite a few around outside!
That is cute! :) And a lovely poem, to. :)
I think my nephew will enjoy singing this....lovely attempt at rhyme.
Cute! Thank you for stopping by.
the scarecrow is never off duty. that he never gets a break might make him crazy:)
good stuff.
I'm impressed. Great drawing, very whimsical yet creepy scarecrowish. Nice poem too. Thanks for posting them.
Karen: I am partial to scarecrows. Whenever I see one, I relive some great childhood moments (My wife's aunt was Margaret Hamilton).
The house manager at the group home where my two autistic sons live does a great job with the garden, complete with a wonderful scarecrow wearing my sons' old clothes!
I love it! You're so creative!
JJ. Oh my goodness JJ the woman we all grew to love/hate/love so much in one movie! That is simply so very cool! I bet your wife has so many stories...when my daughter was growing up (well still really) she was so crazy about the Wizard of Oz....we even saw Wicked in London! Wow, just imagine being her niece...!
For sure a shout out to Fall. Love it! Pop Art Minis
