I just read The Cat in the Hat to my grandson. I could almost read it from memory from reading it to my kids! Great photo and clever poem to go with it!
We could sit there in the virtual world and have a conversation over some tea...is that ok with you? Love your creativity.
Galen, lately we've been reading (with my 2 grandsons) Hop on Pop and In A People House and Danny who's 3 pretty much knows the words before I read them! In A People House the words are easy to sing through it too! But Cat in the Hat is my most favorite of all!
Rek, Absolutely! I'll brew the first pot of tea too!
I was expecting this article. Nice grey chairs.
Greetings,
Filip
Good fun, Karen - well worth a second post.
Those chairs are awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Nice post. I love Dr Seuss! I heard he wasn't really a doctor, he just thought the name sounded good. (I don't know if that is true, someone just told me)!
Jenny- I always think of him as being the best Doctor of Nonsense! But in the real (adult) world he is a Doctor of Philosophy!...His words make us as healthy as eating a barrel of apples! Thanks for stopping by!
Nice rhyme and photo. I hope you had good travels this week.
Love the picture, but the Dr. Seuss story is even more awesome!
Very cool picture - and we're great Dr Seuss fans over here!
I noticed that my daughter didn't have Green Eggs and Ham amongst her collection, so I bought it and read it to my (nearly 3) grand-daughter when she slept over last weekend. Next day she went home chanting excerpts verbatim ;)
Sage, funny you mention that, we did get quite a mix of winter fun this week! Luckily no accidents! Ice and rain and snow and more icy roads then one likes to travel!
Alexia- that's too funny, I bet she was just adorable! Good for you in keeping up her collection..especially Green Eggs and Ham...oh goodness his silly nonsense just must be spread about!
Max- Thanks so much. Can you tell I just adore Dr. Seuss! Don't tell everyone but I have a special Cat in the Hat that sits in my china cabinet....protecting all who enter!
