Saturday Centus
Garfield's Treat Or Guilty Pleasures
He was a lovely toy, without self-indulged habits,
nearly lost, in her long list of lovers.
Although, mediocre in his talents
but yet, well suited for her amusement
and delicious enjoyment.
So very different from
those before him,
who showered her with the finest of
bling.
Whatever she wanted, they were at her beckon call.
Still, she baked in his, daily existence.
Together they cooked up guilty pleasures,
experienced bizarre and pleasurable anticipations
of, what shall life present today?
If he could find the precise words, surely he'd say
"You could have had it all"
and you preferred me.
The rules for
Saturday Centus
are
Straight from Jenny, on her "Off on my tangent" blog, and she has served "You could have had it all" as our prompt this week. No more than 106 words in any style writing and any number of photos!

You have written this soooo well, Karen. :)
Aw, the life of an favorite old cookie jar! Like many of us, we have had several lives. And end up pretty happy with the one we are in now.
(But, Karen, the memories of those other ones, ...
Well, just say that they are worth savoring.
I am glad Garfield could give us a hint of his former life, part of it. Thank you.)

You made the right choice.
