Thematic Photographic - 201 Welcome Summer

Carmi from "Written Inc. blog" has declared summer is officially here, and welcome!

We know it's summer when........

It's just a muggy day in June, but the fish are biting anyway.

and of course we love

Bringing summer offerings inside.....

"Flowers are those little colorful beacons of the sun from which we get sunshine when dark, somber skies blanket our thoughts." Dodinsky

Absolutely all the fountains are up and running as we welcome summer!

All the summer Gnomes have been busy delivering useful summer chairs for a safe summer.

.....and tomatoes are appearing on vines.....

It was a fresh and HoT sunny day and little swimming pools were popping up all over the neighborhoods ....

If it feels and looks like summer, it must be summer!
We welcome summer....

Care to share a bit of summer too?

Cool fountain there. I love the weathered lifeguard seat too. Nice pictures.

Max you're welcome!

Lovely pics - the water in the paddling pool looks very inviting - or would if there wasn't a howling gale with attendant hail showers outside... :(

Karen this is a fantastic way to welcome summer! You've captured so many summer time treasures and I love the words you chose, they compliment your post.

Have a happy summer!

That water looks great.

I sure would love to be out in a boat fishing right now!

Those are lovely summery shots! I like the beachguard chair, and the little one in her paddling pool. And that is rather a weird fountain - but cooling!

Fine summer shots, Karen. I'm just wondering when we are going to get one in England as it's the wettest June for many years and ourone week heatwave was back in March (I think).

Still your ducks would like it near here where they could join the others on a pool that has appeared in the corner of a cornfield.

Hi Karen, you have a nice summer coming, I can tell by your theme pictures.

My favorite is, a hard choice here, they are all great(!), the cute little girl in her pool. The first had the best caption, "but the fish are biting anyway," as spoken by a true fisher.

Items: 1) I like your header picture, it is summery too; and 2) even with our hot I did play golf yesterday. And it was 101F when we finished.
BTW, I wasn't close up for a good picture, buy my 'summer concert' was in honor of our Miss Texas before she won that title. She is a good singer.

I like almost every fountain but this one is very special.

You've got all your ducks (almost) in a row in that top one. :)

Lovely pictures, especially the tomatoes! We do have seasons here of course but it’s pretty much warm and sunny all year so I sometimes forget the extremes that others endure.
