Thematic Photographic 213- Retro

Welcome to Carmi's - Thematic Photographic with "retro" as our theme this week!

Some folks say, "Easy come is easy go"
And some folks say
But one night ain't enough for me...
Girl, hang on tight and don't let go
Suzy, Suzy, girl, for cryin' out loud
You got all the right moves
That's all right with me
This must be just like livin' in paradise!
What did the Old Yellow Cabinet say to Bright Chrome Chair?
"Look, I'm not going away, I'm not!
and this is the thing, I'm being sold at a much higher price tag these days...."

"Style - is knowing who you are, what you want to say, and not giving a damn." - Gore Vidal

Rockin' steady in her daddy's car
She got the stereo with the big guitars
And that's all right....
I got the itch and a restless soul
She...... gone with the wind
Gonna go for broke tonight, yeah
and that's all
This must be just like livin' in paradise!
It seems these days everything is coming up RETRO!
So many options so many apps
so little time to change the world
into how we see it!

One, Two, Three O'clock Four O'clock rock
we're gonna rock around the clock tonight...

and hunt down some more
really cool RETRO things tonight!

and if you're not too busy
you can join us too!

just remember
you gotta

rock, rock around the clock tonight.....!

How I wish I could have pinched that clock for a Sepai Saturday post a couple of weeks ago.

The taillight collage sucked me right in...that Vette stopped me in my tracks. What an awesome roundup for this week's really WAS nicer back then. I can't imagine modern-day equivalents would be as emotion-stirring.
