Thematic Photographic - #221 Windows

Welcome to the windows of my blog!

Thematic Photographic

Carmi has called "windows" as our theme this week!  One of my most favorite things to shoot!  Especially, looking into windows.

So many ways to shoot windows!

I am a window fanatic, and no I'm not a peeping Tom, but I have always been attracted to windows!

For as long as I can remember- I've been shooting through windows, from either side.

WINDOWS- Part 1 - Window Views

Once upon a trip to St. Paul and during an early lunch, there was a window that caught my eye.

Won't you come and look inside our window?
and....
So I had to go inside.

Anyone interested in science?

Then let's go spend the rest of the day at
The Science Museum in Saint Paul
just a few blocks away.

"I discovered windows one afternoon and after that, nothing was ever the same."-
Anne Spollen- The Shape of Water

Looking at autumn outside this window I saw-

"A landscape for my emotions, a biography of memories."
-Anne Spollen

 "Where ever I am
I always find myself looking out windows."

"Every so often, I like to go to the window, look up, and smile for a satellite picture."
Stephen Wright

"Jump out the window if you are the object of passion. Flee it if you feel like it. Passion goes, boredom remains."
Coco Chanel

"Are you enjoying what's going on outside your window?"
Have you really looked outside your window?

If you feel like looking through more windows- or opening your own to share go here

Your posts often make me think of how many ways we can see ordinary things. Windows are architectural features, practical things, you can see into them, and they can frame the world...

Very good post, as usual.

They are metaphorical picture frames surrounding the world as we see it.

Kalei's BF Yeah, I'm kind of a fan of Carmi's TP! Windows is an easy theme cuz I have an endless supply-almost didn't know where to start! But I was thinking-go for some new windows this week too!!!! We'll see!

We try to keep our windows as dirty as possible in the hope of avoiding falling through them.

Great photos! Love the creativity on getting both sides of the shot in the first two. But I have to say, the fall colors are my favorite!

neat windows, especially overlooking what I assume are locks with a tug in view.

Great pictures, as always. Love the views from your windows, too!

It's easy to spend time looking out of windows; and that's a reason why I get nothing done. Must learn to smile for that satellite photo.

Oh, that autumn window shot... such radiant color! Too bad it doesn't last all year!

Love the reflection in the first one, and the park outside the window is beautiful too. Good set of pictures.
