Alphabe-Thursday - The Letter G

Welcome to Jenny's first 2014 Alphabe-Thursday for this year as we celebrate the letter G.

My letter is for GIFT! The grandest of all gifts too. My very sweet daughter-in-law knew how I'd love to dress-up all my place settings with each family member's name, for easy seating at our large gatherings.  So she went to work (right from Santa's workshop I do believe) and these are her lovely creations.  Just what a beautifully set table requires, wouldn't you agree?

Great gads, it's gorgeous gadgets for a grand greeting for our dinner guests.

These adorable little jars can be filled with various goodies, from snacks to candies.  Even the Easter bunny might drop off a surprise to place inside.

These little snow people are simply adorable!  Although, they are beginning to melt! Oh no!

These are fun little chalk boards for sayings, or any other special little notes!  Right now I'm saying a great, Thank you to Cassandra for her creative touch just for our family!

Be sure to check out other letter G posts, or post your own too!

They are all delightful, but the ones I fancy attempting are the ones with cylinders of wood with pegs and topped cocktail sticks.
Happy new year

Hardly a letter could be more appropriate than G at this time of year. We are now passing charity shops loaded with unwanted gifts. I don't know if there is a word for that :)
All the best to you in 2014.
