Scavenger Hunt Sunday Share

SHARING IS WHERE
ONE STARTS FROM-
(my running theme for this scavenger hunt)

May the search for, Starts with J, kindness, three, To Do, and shoes begins now!

I'm just back from "a short weekend trip" to the lake, which also included my participation in the Camp Elk River Girl Scouts with my daughter's "Daisy troop, (her daughter) other Daisy and Brownies" at a Girl Scout getaway!

Starts with J

Jester.

My friend, David Cook, aka The Flower-Bomber shares his creative-joyful-cheerful ART
with the world!

Here he's spreading his
KINDNESS on the beach in sunny Florida right this moment!
(He's off in the background shooting photos like this as onlookers pass by his "flowers in the sand!")

This summer we went to the Grand opening of our new Whitetail Regional Park in Dakota County, where David shared his Flower-Power and loads of his other vine creations for the grand opening!

THREE -  PHOTOS of Embodied.

Also, as a side note for next weekend-  and if you get a chance to see a project series on "A Collection Embodied" do it. I plan to catch this one.
So many fun and exciting things to keep us entertained during the long cold winter, right?!

TO DO

Can you believe this is the schoolwork of Lyra, a five year old in Kindergarten, and yes, they are learning (and mastering) the art of Cursive!

Cursive! It's about time. We do need a realistic overhaul of the system if our kids are to prosper.

Girl scout and Brownie trips bring back some great memories for me. With three daughters, I took a zillion of them. We enjoyed a great deal of time over the years hiking to mountaintop lakes, where I spent hours baiting lines and pulling fish hooks out of my ears. Great memories!

Love the bright colors in your photos! That's great that you had a weekend getaway. I haven't had one of those in forever. I usually work on the weekends.
I love cursive! It has an old fashioned touch, and even though I don't write in cursive most of the time, I really enjoy it whenever I do.

Have a great day!

I like the jester shot and the shoe shot. There is a school of thought that kids should learn cursive first since it is easier to learn than print.

That child is lucky her school is teaching writing as many elementary schools are not teaching writing or spelling. Her work is beautiful.

I can't decide if that big jester in the background is cool, or just a little bit creepy. Great pictures though.
