Colors shine for themselves.
WHITE
Wikipedia describes the color white as having five basic colors often associated with it- cream, eggshell, ivory, Navajo white, and vanilla. But then there's the lighting of a room where the shade of white enters, color number 6 and don't forget that lighting can cause a pure white to be perceived as off white, making that 7!
Cloudy white.
From my front yard.
No real bright sunlight, yet a bluish shade of white.
From this morning, what's mostly white is actually in truth, grey.

Experts estimate that we can distinguish perhaps as many as 10 million colors.

you have plenty of white to share! :)
Nice collection, Karen.
I saw the title, and "White Toilet Paper" was what popped into my head.

♥ly greetings from germany
so who read FIFTY SHADES recently, huh?
I really like the second picture!
Interesting, but all our eggs seem to be brown these days. Only when you get inside a boiled one do you see the white.
This is awesome. You are very creative. I love the way you think. I remember being taught that white is actually the absence of colour, while black is actually all of the colours mixed together. Truth.

I was thinking the same thing about eggs and one above wrote--eating brown organic eggs. Of course, I am sure there's plenty of white on the ground up there.
All very nice, Karen, but that egg photo knocks my socks off!
I love all the white, Karen! :)
Those are really great shots, and an extremely clever and thoughtful catalog of whites! I love the eggs - quite stunning!
Great post, fantastic shots.
you are always thinking outside the box!! was this also a play on 50 shades of gray?? i wasn't sure!!!!
I love the first shot. There are definitely many shades of white in winter. The trick is to catch them well with the camera. Well done.
