Keep making memories.

Michelangelo said it best,
"To touch can be to give life."

To learn is empowering.

"I have never known any distress that an hour
of reading did not relieve."
Charles De Montesquieu

A book is a vacation for the mind.

No matter where you find yourself,

Books are there too.

You know that joke about when life gives you lemons,
make lemonade?

Well when you feel lost in a world of eggheads,
make eggicons.

Unshackle yourself daily.
Don't limit yourself too much.

Less is not always more.

"Opportunities to find deeper powers within ourselves
come when life seems most challenging."
Joseph Campbell

Dress yourself up whenever you can.
The sky's the limit.

Silliness is infectious.

Laughter is key.

Smiles are free!

We just can't ever forget about having fun
along the way of our daily lives, even at work.
It's essential to all of us.

"Always stay true to yourself
and never let what somebody else says
distract you from your goals."
Michelle Obama

"To become truly great,
one has to stand with people,
not above them."

Charles De Montesquieu

My favorite line from Richard Gere,
"Say the truth that you're carrying in your heart like hidden treasure."
and take good care of you.

I enjoyed this post, Karen! Reading is wonderful. How can one not read constantly? If I'm waiting in the car and (heaven forbid) forgot to bring my Kindle, I'll read anything I can find in the glove box, even the owner's manual! Loved Gere's thoughts on life.
