Be Adventurous and Critters

Welcome to all on this 30th of November.

Thanksgiving is behind us and Christmas festivities are beginning once again all over the world. Please share a favorite festivity of yours in my comments.

I'm with you every step of the way.

Especially when it means running away on an adventurous trail.

"Never say 'no' to adventures.  Always say 'yes,' otherwise you'll lead a very dull life."
Ian Fleming

Nobody enjoys dull. Shoot for Razzle-Dazzle.

....and all through the house music played and upstairs they were busy decorating this year's Christmas tree.

Welcome to

SATURDAY'S CRITTERS

and City Daily Photo

"Don't be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth. Be empty of worrying.

"Be melting snow. Wash yourself of yourself. Or better yet, take a ride on the moon."

Rumi and me reflection.

When feeling blue, think/read/feel/smell/see happy things.

Two of my daughter's favorite things.

"It's always better to be doing."

Garth Nix

"Respond to every call that excites your spirit."

Photo taken by my daughter and it's one Huntsville tradition I haven't experienced for myself yet, although our Arboretum features these lovely outdoor lighting experiences too and, they are also a magical experience not to miss.

"Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?"

Garth Nix quotes

Love only grows by sharing.

You can only have more love for yourself by giving it away to others.

Yes, as a matter of fact I love the Grinch.

"It came without ribbons it came without tags.

Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store."

A jolly-good-feeling makes everything better.

"Sometimes we spend so much time and energy thinking about where we want to go that we don't notice where we happen to be." Dan Gutman

"Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings."

William Arthur Ward

"Every person who makes a snowman, has a friend, and there's always someone else somewhere carving theirs as well. All though they may be worlds away from us, we know that together we're all making a confidante within our hearts."

"There's no one with intelligence in this town except that man over there playing with the children, the one riding the stick horse. He has keen, fiery insight and vast dignity like the night sky, but he conceals it in the madness of child's play."

Rumi

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your adventures

and what we do alone can so often be so much more

memorable with others.

and take good care.

You are so welcome. Rumi does that for me as well and there are so many moments (like presently) that his words are just what I need.

I 100% agree- I put Thanksgiving away and started on Christmas. It's my most favorite holiday and the best time of year. I love it!

I checked out the annual Santa run in Stockholm today. A few thousand Santa's running through the old town. Came home with a few hundred photos!

Fun photos! I like getting together with family, but I’m kind of burnt out on most Christmas traditions. I like seeing the lights though, because days are so short and I crave light.

I know the feeling that's why while I keep many traditions alive and the same, I like changing some things up a bit differently every year and finding all the Christmas events around that I can. Thanks for stopping by.

Your pets looked like they enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday (was someone sneaking them a piece of turkey under the tables). Enjoy the season!
