Thematic Photographic # 141 Windows

So before I could look outside my window the new theme for Thematic Photographic was up and it's all about windows.  As always the theme is wide open!
If you feel like following along with your own post just go here

This was a very full weekend and it all began on Friday.......
I enjoy taking long walks and looking at windows along the way, wondering what lies on the other side...I remember doing this as far back as my days of trick-or-treating.......

My grandbaby, Karina's Baptism today........
The windows of my soul are made of one-way glass, don't bother looking into my eyes if there's something you want to know, just ask. - Ani Difranco
We dined here Friday night and took a stroll outside in search of windows....
"If a window of opportunity appears, don't pull down the shade."  - Tom Peters

Friday was a day to say hello to our dear old feathered friends.....one was too busy peering out the window to bother showing his face to us!
While a few other feathered friends (this is Mo) was more than happy to chat with us!

In all that you may do this week......"Put your ear down close to your soul and listen hard." - Anne Sexton
and you will find life to be good.....

Great shots, Karen. I especially love the first one - it's beautiful. The blue reflection in the windows is so cool. Thanks for dropping by.

Lovely selection of shots. It looks like you had a really enjoyable time being where these were taken!
I find that final one quite sad, in a Christmassy kind of way - will put up a pic to illustrate (ha!) what I mean.

Isn't it great to have grandchildren???

Your granddaughter is so adorable! She looks like a wee little princess in her gown.

I love your photos, the first one really caught my eye. I love your quotes as well. I'm a person that looks people square in the eye, I see what I can see and if I don't see much of anything then I ask. What do I have to lose?

Enjoy your Monday!

Good selection as usual Karen. I was taken by the parrots.

Windows are great, though I appreciate them from an aesthetic point of view than an 'into their soul' one..

Nice selection of shots and quotes :-)

Writer thanks...I really wanted to put a song to these photos like you do...but I had no time...I love viewing photos with lyrics lingering along!

Cute parrots, and the contrast and colors on that first picture are stunning.

A window to your world... these are just perfect, Karen. Love the shot of your grandbaby- these moments are so precious, so fleeting, so priceless.

Thanks for pulling back the curtain and letting us have a look inside.
