Thematic Photographic # 148 Well Aged

It's great to be back Blogging and also, receive the theme for the week from one of my favorite blogs!  Carmi, from Written Inc. at
http://writteninc.blogspot.com/2011/05/thematic-photographic-148-well-aged.html
why not give it a try for yourself.......if you feel the urge to submit one too!!

For this great theme...(thanks Carmi)   he has sent me directly to the back of our property for none other than...something.... "well aged" so through the valley of lions and tigers and bears, and weeds...oh my!

A stately grille..........and some flashy headlights too.....

and moving along on our view....

Can you guess what I am yet?

Certainly not from the 20's...................... and never from the 40's......what oh what could I be?

okay..... how about a hint?

wasn't the above photo enough of a hint?

Welcome to my world..... won't you step on inside.......but be careful of.......

SPIDERS!    ........   Not sure how well aged this spider web is...

So,  if you haven't guessed yet..... I am a lovely old "37 Chevy... WELL AGED ...4 door sedan as the lucky target for this theme!

things that are "well aged" ...most often are....much like this quote,

"The past is our very being...." - David Ben-Gurion

Karen, that silver looks stunning against that chartreuse grass!.

That is one beautiful car, and amazingly good shape what with the spider webs on it. Great lead up from the front all the way to the back.

Great photo. There is much to be said for well-aged. Cars, wine, cheese, etc.

What an awesome car! They just don't make things with that sense of style anymore.

Just a gorgeous creation, and I loved the way you led us through all the parts. I wonder at what point Max guessed what it was? Maybe the first one! :)

I agree with Chrissy about the colour of the grass - amazing.

It's good to see you back, Karen; hope you had a wonderful time!
