A time for fun and despair

Reflections of long days and fun
Seems not long ago had for us begun
Will soon fade away you see

You at the fair
But if only it wasn’t so
That soon summer will go

If you got in your car after shopping at the mall, and the temperature read 118 degrees, you would be more than happy to see summer end! I always loved going to the fair, and I love your whimsical drawing/painting!!! Thanks for the comment on mine!!

Karen where did summer go? It feels like it should just be beginning and here we're already into the cool nights, a sure sign of autumn. (Heavy sigh!)

Oh I know, I used to visit my grandfather in July in Florence, Az every year!....but our summers here are so much more enjoyable! ;)...and I won't even go into our WINTERS! Grrrrrr!
Darlin, I couldn't agree more, summer fades away too quickly around here...but January and February and March go on and on...it seems!
