Thematic Photographic # 166 triangular

THIS IS A THEMATIC PHOTOGRAPHIC Post

.... Carmi, from Written Inc. blog, has selected "triangular" or even if it suggests one, as this week's three-sided theme...........
or as Carmi phrased it, "bring your threesies."

...........so grabbing from my private stash of photos..............

Anyone care for hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream or maybe a soft drink or perhaps the rest room?  All of those are found right here under the three-sided-triangular rooftops in Linden Hills, on Lake Harriet.
It's last year's snow on the roof.

This triangular shape caught my attention while window shopping at the Galleria Shops in Edina earlier this year.....still not sure what it is....

Here's a threesie-triangular-sided flag.....It was a happy 4th of July Parade, except for the over load of mosquitoes.....

Have you ever attended a Norwegian wedding?  Then you know what this is....if not, traditionally it's a kransekake or Norwegian Wedding cake.
It's quite yummy too....and so triangular shaped,
and everyone specially designed with your own personal flags and candies.

This last photo takes on the threesies idea....like 3 mints in one....
of being, three views in one

Really, this is a great "threesies!"
The first view is looking through the window into a shop, while also taking the view of what's outside the shop (on the left) and finally your third view is the reflection of what's on this side of the glass when I shot the photo!

and so while we're on the topic of three---
We all know there are 3 sides to every story....but did you know there's such a thing as a 3-sided coin?

So if you too have a triangular, threesies, or anything suggesting triangles or 3 sides...please bring here...before a new theme arrives

Very nice idea to take these pictures, you need to be creative to do it. I would never think about it.

Greetings,
Filip

I just love those first two shots - they are really great! And no, I can't imagine what is in the window, either!

And the other images are so interesting, and very clever. But that cake looks really yummy!

Filip - thanks, I bet your photos are creative too...! I take my camera with me no matter where I am, (the glory of a purse right?!) and when something comes my way I snap it. If I need to or not! It's quite fun, and so much easier these days!

Limar- thanks, I have lots of various views of those roofs at Lake Harriet!

Gilly- those cakes are yummy, and it was the only cake that wedding had, but they had a tremendous amount of tasty yummy treats, even handmade chocolate covered cherries, (SO good) made by the bride's grandma! and endless apple pies, the bride is an autumn girl and it was at the groom's family farm....!

Great photos. The last one is so creative with respect to the triangle concept. You have such an artistic think out of the box perspective on things! I am always delighted when I visit!

I like that top pic. :)

The triangular shape that you are not sure about is a warning not to buy! The contrast provided by the snow on the roof in the first shot makes the triangle theme most effective.

I love the first photo, it's intriguing. The cake... yummmm. It seems there's a lot of food posts tonight, now I'm getting hungry, I'd best get to bed before I go and raid the kitchen. ;-) Triangles eh? I'll see what I can do with that one if time permits. Enjoy your day.

Darlin, you've got all week for Carmi's TP and I know you'll have fun with it, if you can....Those cakes can be yummy...and oh so sweet!

Bob S. I loved your triangles but couldn't comment again on your blog...grrr, your new change isn't good for me...BUT you have me so eager to know, do you know what that second picture is selling? Silly me just liked the colors and the angles and never really saw what they were selling...it was at the Galleria so you are right, something too expensive and not necessary!

Nice pictures! The somewhat snow covered rooftops are stunning, and that one right below, whatever it is, cool.

Beautiful photos! The Norwegian wedding cake looks yummy! And the three reflections is insight that many wouldn't see -- good catch!

I don't get invited to nearly enough weddings. And I need to expand my view of the world, because I had no idea triangles lurk in so many places. Wonderful stuff!
