WELCOME TO MARCH AND
SATURDAY CENTUS
Saying goodbye was harder than she thought.
Her terrifying cloud of uncertainty was about to burst, with each imaginary wheel going around and around. She cringed as she felt her footing slip away. How could she unlock the turning of it all?
There she was, caught in the predicament of agreeing impulsively again. Why was she always the follower? Her raw nerves uttered complete chaos inside, as she shivered from the chilly feeling of an emptiness cold as ice.
Were these dreaded grey waters ahead unfit for human use? She knew what she must do. Goodbye world....it's time to.....
JUMP!
Jenny from "Off on my tangent" is busy with Two Men and A Truck, (ha ha) don't laugh, where I live it's a real moving company! Anyway, Jenny is giving us an easy Saturday Centus this WEEK. ha ha! Rules to join in
are pretty basic, this WEEK!
It seems she may be handing out a dreadful assignment next week!
WE MAY USE - Up to 107 words which must include the prompt, "Saying goodbye was harder than she thought." ....and no splitting of the prompt. Any style of writing, and use as many photos as you want.
Feel like giving it a go too, then just bring it here

Very interesting....I hope she found her voice!
What a fun picture! It was all doom and gloom until I saw the photo! I think she'll be all right.
Thank you for your kind comment on my SC-post. You are first commenter and have been given an extra photo-link. (Hope you don't mind me using the picture of you as a child too. It's so sweet. But say the word and I shall remove it/them.)
Best wishes & hugs,
Anna

noexcuses, I know! ...I was tempted to leave another cliffhanger too! LOL sometimes they are so much fun...but then the next week it isn't always a good prompt to continue my story! A happy ending though....cuz it's straight to the hot tub from there!
I hope that she loved it! Nice job :)

Whew, I'm so glad she is just going for a swim with her friends. That first plunge can be a shocker. Fun surprise ending.
Funny picture.
Greetings,
Filip
hahaha
This one was chilling!
;)
Interesting. I imagine a different image than the one you included...something a little darker, more sinister. I enjoyed the writing.
AHHHHHH!! I can't swim and I hate icy cold water!~Ames
Ames, ahhh, it's actually deep at all....barely comes up to your waist....but yes very, extremely brrrrrrrrrrrrrr! A very silly thing these jumps....

Good one! You got me.
have you ever taken the polar bear plunge? At the local winterfest here, where they have fool's competition, this year the ice wasn't frozen!
Fantastic twist to what I thought was a fit of depression. I so love the combination of words and images you create.
haha!! that was great karen!
to repeat what others have said...you had me going there...thinking the worst...and then POOF...just a jump in the water with the others!!
GREAT!
"it's time to....." catch the first plane to Bali, Karen!!!! I'd give an inch off Rod's-----Hmmm, never mind!
And, yes, I've been hiding out, and, yes, it has not been fun, but I finally posted my Centus.

Really cool story, you are a great writer! : )
Gulp.
My heart was pounding.
I thought this was going to have a dark ending.
Pound, Pound, Pound.
And then...
You twisted me around and surprised me!
I love when that happens!
You do that style of writing so well!
