Saturday Centus Good Things Come in Fives

Saturday Centus

Jenny, from "Off on my tangent" blog (still waaaaaaaaaaaay behind with all her unpacking) has given us a twist for our centus today.  Our mission is simple.

(5) five sentences, consisting of five words each, to tell a story about her theme (note: not prompt, and you don't need to use Jenny's five words at all)  Your story must be a total of 25 words, in any style of writing.

 Jenny's theme is:

                       "Good things come in fives"

Five years underneath these skies
while the world looked in
her durable state that weathered
from the inside-out of concrete
until now, she's been sold.

Jenny's photo for her theme of

Good things come in fives.

I like it (your 5 X 5, not necessarily the figure) Karen! :)
Five years is a long time. You might miss her when she is gone. ;)

Statue or house? I like the ambiguity. Interesting take on the "prompt".

Looks like she's moving on, huh? (I'm assuming you mean the statue because of "concrete.")

I like the way the last line is just sort of hits you. Nicely done.

=)

Very imaginative. I hope she gets full sun in her new home, so she can tan her other side.

Where did this come from?

Karen! Your imagination is absolutely stellar. I love the directions you take.
