OUR THEME IS
WATERY
Folkestone, England, taken from the front of our hotel. A genius is one who shoots at something others may never see, and shares it with the world. |
The artist doesn't ever see things as they are, but rather through his own eyes and if we're lucky enough to stumble upon his work, look deeply with your own eyes. |
".......and what do you see?" |
A couple times a day (if not more) I could sit upon the watery openness, just gazing at boats and water, as my thoughts float freely around me. |
In truth, "We all live under the same sky, but we don't all have the same horizon." - Konrad Adenauer |
What gave me the reason for this post?
This morning I was inspired by "restlessjo, from Roaming at home and abroad, (Johanna)" and her stunning photos and delightful stories (which includes a pirate legend) from Robin Hood's Bay in North Yorkshire.
My photos are from abroad, Folkestone, England, but mostly the South of France. Although, now thanks to Johanna, I have to plan another adventure, very soon.

Very nice. I wish you'd be a bit more specific, though, on where you took these lovely shots. You are with the first one, but where in France is that gorgeous fountain?
Lisa, it's Zeus, in Montpellier, France, the Antigone district.
More lovley watery pictures - a nice shower, thank you Karen.
Thanks Little Nell, such beautiful places, it's easy to catch stunning views!
Beware of seagulls!
Bob, you're so funny! They really were thick that time of day too!
Zeus are you shooting arrows or water?
These are amazing photos! I love the quotes you have, here. Especially your "happiness" quote from Socrates.
Fantastic snaps, specially the first one...birds in flight, always fascinating. :)
Have a great week ahead.
fabulous imagery! Love these photos! Eespecially the one of wet pavement reflections
Thanks for your visit for Sunset Sunday. I really enjoyed this post because I live in the high desert in the U.S. and water and seaside shots are my most favorite.
Love those fountain shots - really good! And the fish - I might have deleted it because of the reflections, but you have made them into a great shot!
Glad good ol' Folkstone came up trumps with a blue sky and gulls!
OOoooops!! just got splashed a little from that raging fountain!! aaaaah...feels good!
