SATURDAY CENTUS
Jenny begins our centus with, "There's a yellow rose in Texas" as our prompt.
Our rules for engagement are simple. 105 words, any style writing, pictures and no messing with the prompt!
Here's how I drive my main road.
But yellow is hardly my favorite color.
and listening to Glen Campbell is so yesterday's music my darling.
Oh without a doubt
I can hear you through the wine
watching you ride each bubbly surf,
of yesterday
as it's always about your turf.
and your dreams of towing the line man
it's just a brawny line
when you're such a ladies man.
and when our goings get tough
you're the man
you pour a little more wine
and I want you for
all time
and not just for your intellectual mind man.
But rather, our unexpected discoveries.
Always have.
Always will.
There's a yellow rose in Texas, but not for us!
Do you need to hear that old favorite song one more time? This is for you, enjoy their climb!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aPa7Qmd2XY
So, I know you're just tugging at your keyboard to play along too. So give in to those deepest of desires and throw caution to blogging unless of course, you'd rather follow your heart to Texas instead!

Now THIS is a creative take on the prompt. Well done, Karen!
=)
Hey Karen, well done...or as they say here in Chile, bien hecho!! Hope you have a great week!
Strange to see a married couple walking like that on the street.
Greetings,
Filip
Geez, I thought I was the only one who couldn't deal with this prompt! Now that I've got my head on straight, maybe I can go write my own Centus some time today! Thanks, Karen!
Like they say, everything is big in Texas. This definately is a big hit! You always amaze me with your talent!
Hugs,
Jann
Unusual and unexpected! wow!
Karen you're amazing, your mind is full of creativity and I love what you did with your prompt. I especially love the final photo of the newlyweds, how unique.
I just noticed my last line, with the prompt wasn't showing! Fixed!
You pulled it off! This was smart.~Ames

Awesome montage!
Karen.
I love you.
And not in a creepy, made-for-TV-movie kind of way.
But in a...
you-are-amazing-and-your-writing-always-moves-my-heart kind of way.
Wow.
Your creativity is amazing.
I would love, love, love to meet you someday, my dear!
