Alphabe Thursday Care for a Cup of Coffee

ALPHABE THURSDAY

 Espresso Simpatico Coffee Shop

Think about this. A cup of coffee can melt any ice.

Sometimes, it's not always about the coffee, but more about where we obtain it!

Care for a Cup of Coffee?

Once again Jenny has called for our assignments of the letter C.  Seriously, it's been a busy month already, and a beast of a day, and as every happy blogger knows, "have plenty of sleep before posting right?"  Or, maybe strengthen my coffee intake?

Surely before you leave your house, you've already made a pot or cup of coffee right?  But once you've left your home sweet dream kitchen, do you suddenly become a coffee snob?  Or, can you just buy a cup of coffee without preference?

Be honest....

Coffee has two virtues it's wet and warm. - Dutch saying

Port Angeles - Washington
Often, it's served by enormously happy people.

The morning cup of coffee has an exhilaration worth the ride!

Over second and third cups of coffee flow matters of high finance, high state, common gossip, and low comedy. Coffee is a social binder, a soberer of minds, a stimulant of wit, a foiler of sleep if you want it so.

Then we have the art of making our own special coffee!

Yes, it's true....you can own this lovely machine for......

 $3,199.95 (and free shipping)
Meet Jura Impressa Z7
But....it's user friendly and one touch can craft, espresso, cappuccino, macchiato, ristretto, coffee!, special coffee, hot water and milk!

While I was admiring, or possibly trying to figure out how this extremely eye catching machine worked, a high-powered sales lady approached offering me a cup.
"Oh you must try a cup without delay."

I know she thought delighting my taste buds would promote a sale.

I don't think so.

Nespresso - Gran Maestria - Espresso Machine - Platinum
Limited uses but only $699.00
and free shipping!

Are you thinking a wee bit stronger and much cheaper?

Bedford Coffee Pot, Bedford, PA.

Okay, maybe not cheaper, but you get more for your money.

"I had some dreams they were clouds in my coffee" - Carly Simon

Here's a thought....
Have you had your neighbor over for coffee lately?

I know mine should all be sleeping right now.   So the sensible thing to do, is either brew a fresh pot or go to bed!

Just the thought of a fresh brew in the early morning hours, to savour such an experience before meeting
what ever the day brings!

Remember when you're enjoying a cup of coffee with a window view, beware of strangers walking by!

Seriously, isn't anyone going to tell me where the Coffee Club meets next?

As a coffee lover, I like this post. What unusual 'cups' you've found!

Lovely photos! I would always have a coffee in a coffee shop shaped like a mug or a pot, Here in England such things don't get planning permission, sadly.

You certainly explored coffee thoroughly! I have to resort to 'decaf' unfortunately but I still enjoy it. Though, British at heart, I still think there's nothing like a cup of tea!

I must confess I am not a coffee lover, but, after reading your nice post, I think I am going to change my mind; would be a smart decision for my memory and my health, yep!
I have enjoyed your words very much, Karen.

Thanks for sharing your happy C with us.
A hug.

A cup, first thing in the morning, or it's all over!! But I prefer it straight up black without all the bells and whistles!
What fun to find it in some of those coffeepot shaped places!
Fun "C"!!!

Sitting here with my home made cup of coffee, I suddenly want to go out and get a cup at either espresso Simpatico or the Bedford Coffee Pot. Too bad they are so far away, cool buildings to sell coffee out of.

Dear Karen,
As a coffee lover, I will drink from any of those cups (smile). Good pictures my friend.

You found the most beautiful coffeepots. I have that Jura machine and honestly it makes the most perfect coffee.

It doesn't need to be a special machine, but I am particular about the coffee beans/roast I choose. And I never stick with one -I like variety. Also, I like to stick with one cup a day, otherwise I can't sleep at night:)

Well this is the cream in my coffee Karen. I see what you mean about being all coffeed out lately, but Knowing your creative ways I’m sure you’ll find a way round it for this week’s Sepia Saturday.

I'm a coffee lover so this was a trip. Love those fun looking coffee spots on the top and bottom pics. I have a stovetop espresso maker (a Bialetti) that I got on sale for $49 on Amazon (I also have an expensive-ish Gaggia which I quit using in favor of the stovetop).. just sayin'

I write this from Port City Java, ie, the internet haven near my parents home! And yes, I'm enjoying a cup of good dark black coffee as I write.

I love the coffee pot buildings! I have a mug before I go to work, and that's it, except if I go out to eat. Coffee and dessert is fabulous in my book! {:-Deb

I love coffee, but it has to be ground and fairtrade :)

Hi Karen ~~ I just now saw this in your blog history and came to see if I'd been here.

Not. I may not have recognized it since a lot here don't leave a clue as to the author. I sure can't visit all of them.

My favorite picture is the 'antique' coffee pot in Pennslyvania like the real thing blue enamaled one that I threw away a dozen years ago.

This is a wonderful post. Isn't it amazing the price we will pay for having our coffee? $$$$Dollars I was thinking, but also our bods if we overdue pay a price. Mine did, I depleted my minerals, well not really, I just quit saving them, and also stopped making enough red blood cells.

That all was scary but cuttng way back on Diet Coke and coffee has allowed most of that to be in the 'normal' range again.
..
I've been doing the letters so far this new series but I don't see how a mom with all the other things (working out of the home?) has hardly any time for blogging or hobbies. That is what is nice for being retired. I helps the guys too.
