I like the Fall, myself, but enjoy it while it lasts!

Guess you are right, Karen. I haven't been to the beach for at least four years and then it was in a different country.

Our fall has arrived this morning around nine. The wind shifted to the north and was actually cool instead of being hot in the face.

You know... I don't think it does matter... although I have heard that the Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean are VERY different....
Around me the beaches have rocks.. perhaps that is because California is slowly falling into the ocean???

I am ready for Autumn! Yay!

I love to "look" at the ocean. I am not much for lounging in the heat on the sand, or for swimming in the ocean...but I love to gaze upon the ocean and think of the power of God! He holds it within its bounds and yet lets it move back an forth. (:>)

I grew up by the beach in Southern Calif., but have been in Kansas for over 30 years! No beach in these parts! Ha!

Happy Saturday!

Karen I am with you, beaches are different but they all are beautiful to enjoy summer's fun. Here it is just starting, we had the first whiff of summer.

Beaches are wonderful. We enjoy ours and are looking forward to many more walks along the boardwalk.

I'm right with you Karen. All this talk of Autumn is killing me. Fine if you live somewhere hot and are pining for a bit of cool, but this northerner's in no hurry to shiver.

It depends upon how you define the word beach. The "beaches" along the shores of the Great Salt Lake are not a place to plant an umbrella, lay down your blanket and relax. Where there is sand, it's quite rocky. It's hot, and the lake is no place to swim and cool off. Not that it isn't a nice place to visit, but it isn't anything like the beach in your beautiful picture.

But exempting the lake for which my city is named, I agree with you 100%. East Coast, West Coast, North or South America, (not to mention other continents) I'd take any one of them right now.

My Beloved Sandra's a beach freak, but they set me running & screaming for a cabin by a lake, deep in the woods.

We take a lot of separate vacations.

I am waiting for our new beach umbrella to show up. It looks just like the multi-colored one in your photo!!!!
