What's That ....?

What's all that white stuff?

Yes, once again all across the city folks are bringing
back that old fashion sport of

Snow blowing!

Be watchful for the storming-snow-plows!

Right here in my little burg we got about 17 inches of that WHITE stuff, once it finally called it quits.

R. Mac- Hahahaha- just know I kind of posted this just for you and those other cool bloggers that never get out in this white stuff! They can tune in from their beaches and cool down after seeing all this! As of last night only one fatal death due to the storm- tough snow-blizzard-warriors around here! Surprisingly not as many crashes as you'd think either!

I'm glad that's not here. The county would be at a standstill.

Love those snow pictures, Karen! Where I grew up, the snow started to fly in late October and lasted until at least March. I miss snow a lot at Christmas time (it rains too much where I now live), but I certainly don't mind not having the cold for months on end.

Last nite we had less than half an inch so we are going for a white Christmas!
Please stay on your feet, Karen!

Karen: I know that stuff from living my life and enjoying the holidays in New Hampshire. Now, as a weather wimp, I invite you and yours to visit us in St. Augustine - after Christmas, of course.

JJ- you're so funny, I love it! As a matter of fact there will be another Florida trip for us one day- so many relatives out that way too!

One of our local weather-idiots said that you-all were very happy to get all that snow.

Jerry- idots is kind of a good word for them! hehehehe! it's kind of fun, but for me driving in it- is a pain, even though we do travel better here in Minnesota than when I lived in St. Louis- my drive there for a 10 minute commute was 7 hours long (once) because of about 2 inches of snow-folks were pulling over to put chains on their wheels in it- you don't see that here, and we have tons of plows that clear it quickly here- but for me- I can live without a 17 inch dump! :)
