Sepia Saturday - # 199 - 19 October 2013

What is Sepia Saturday all about? It's about people and places from long ago.  It provides an opportunity to share our own family history as well as the world around us.  Historical photographs of any kind or nature, and not limited to sepia photos either.  It's a place to reminisce and where we share and learn through photographs.

Sepia Saturday gives us a chance for all those looking in to observe, life as it was in family, local or social history, through fact or fiction.

SEPIA SATURDAY

For my post this week, I'm posting a few old time photobombs, because next week Sepia Saturday reaches the 200 mark of postings, and we will feature a rather unique posting to commemorate it.

The best of the best!

I want to share something interesting about next week.

For those of us at Sepia Saturday wishing to play along, we will each submit from our own contributions, that one post that is special to us.   If we agree to have it published, then it will be included in a small "Best of Sepia Saturday" book available to Sepians.

If you could, I'd really appreciate your input here as well.  If you care to leave me your favorite topic within Sepia Saturday in the comments below, I'll consider all of your suggestions when I decide which post to use for the 200 edition of Sepia Saturday.

So, for a bit of humor this week, can you guess what makes the photo below a photobomb?

 How about these?

Can you spot what makes these next three a photobomb?

Answers, first photo the boy walking into the picture, then next three all men popping their heads in where they don't belong.  The last photo he's in the box at the bottom left corner of the photo.

Okay, testing that my post is really here. It was at the beginning of my commenting on everyone's blog then as if this were a Hitchcock movie, it vanished!

Cloudia, Thanks. I know the last one was tricky, the others were all pretty much in plain sight.

Good choices for classic "photobombs" I don't know that I can pick just one a favorite theme. The blurred photo from two weeks ago inspired a lot of interesting posts. So did #178 with the women's face. The fun of Alan's theme photos is the way they trigger different responses from our blogging group. Pick the one you most enjoyed writing.

I didn't realise they photobombed that far back! I love all your posts and anyway I'm biased as admin :) Why don't you see which ones got the most favourable comments?

I didn't spot the last photo bomb until you told us about the head in the box. I've never seen a civil war photo bomb photo before!

The young lad walking into the photo? Oh, those A shape skirts or dresses in those times.
