The Mag - 189

"A magician makes the visible invisible.  A mime makes the invisible visible." - Marcel Marceau

But, how does the heart obtain what the heart desires?

THE MAG

Commedia dell'arte

He sits speechless
an eminently decorous
man of comedy
by day.

Oblivious to time
he dimly perceives
any realness.

By night
he dispenses
every girl's dreamtime
so very instinctively
this imitator of everything
in his
isolated cubicle of time.

He's incapable of
existing inside
reality
as his
sparkle and flair
only exists inside
a dream world.

 Still he's
tongue-tied at the sight of her.
She pleases his aesthetic senses
and his haste for living
which lingers
upon the second-hand
he's
too forlorn to forge his
destiny on the arms of another.

He continues his
Ever-voluminously quick-witted-

Life as a Mime.
