Winter Tales Writing Inspiration Photos #1

Greetings.  You are about to read my first try at "Write-A-Story" from any or all photos posted and taken by, Lisa Schafer, A writer and teacher by day.

I chose her photo of Max as my writing inspiration.  Did I hear you ask, why?  Because he's an incredible subject of course.

Okay, I admit I added a few other shots not taken by Lisa, to begin my story about Max on his winter road trip.

So my winter tale begins on slippery, snowy slopes.

What a blissful wintry day it was with perky skiers competing against each other while performing over the top daredevil stunts.

Making spirits bright for all, especially Max.

However, even the mightiest master of photography can only stand so much talent against a white background.  So, Max headed to the skating brink! Yes I said, brink.  Where in the wintry world was he?  Had he fallen down a rabbit hole? Was he abducted and carried away in a Delorean?

Take a look and see for yourself.  Back in time he was indeed.

Okay she's kind of pretty, but what's that thing on her head?

Oh my snickers, and long stockings, what was Max to do?

Run. Run very fast, and don't stop, until you see real people of this century.

Well it was simple.  As usual, Max had been guided by some inner compulsion to shoot something, so he hurried off the ice with camera in hand, to find it.

He did too.

After a brief photo extravaganza of about four hours, give or take, this is how we caught Max.

Taking a breather, camera still in hand, at the ready position just in case!

The End.

Maybe you want to play along too?
Here is a link to the photos Max took that day.
After checking them out, you'll totally understand why Max is so cool.

I like it, especially the going back in time part. Great story, I'm honored.

Yay, I was hoping you'd like it, and being the car guy that you are too I had to include like one of the coolest cars around.

I really don't mean to brag, but I used to make at least 6 complete somersaults in the air before landing in a heap coming off of saddle-broncs back during my rodeo days. Now, I never made it into the money, but folks would say that I sure was entertaining!
