Scavenger Hunt Sunday - 2 February 2014

Let the hunt begin again, as we join Ashley Sisk, at Ramblings and Photos blog, with her weekly challenge.

Ashley hopes we're able to uncover these lucky items.  Beverage, snuggle, thick, behind the lens, where were you?

1.  Beverage

Following my morning coffee.

2.  Snuggle

"Cousin, I just love you so much."

3.  Thick

Thick with layer after layer of snow.  So sorry, little birdies.

My focus wasn't just on capturing these alluring, ice sculptures, but also on Mr. (unknown to me) Photographer, as he positioned his camera about the St. Paul Winter Carnival.

4.  Behind the Lens

From this angle-

To this view, before he really gets serious.

Behind the lens, even if it takes rolling on the ground, for that perfect shot.

5.  Where were you?

I waited, and waited and still, you never came to get me.

"You were waiting for me?"

Thank you sharing this week's Sunday Scavenger Hunt.  If you wish to view more, or bring your own hunt to life, go here.

Your winter carnival photos are amazing. I wonder if the photographer had any idea you were shooting him? You did a great job with 'Where were you.' So cute!

Christine, yes it happens every year, no matter what the weather. It takes place in St. Paul, Minnesota, and no that was just a random person out taking pictures. It seems everyone takes pictures, it's rare to see anyone not.

Martha, I'm not sure if he knew, he really was absorbed in what he was doing, and didn't seem to notice much of anything around him. But who knows, he may have, but he never said a word! It was so cold my phone kept shutting off, so I missed getting a shot of him stretched out completely on the ground. My phone just came back to life when he was getting up!
