Six Word Saturday - 1 March 2014

WISHING FOR IT TO BE MORE

Characteristically,
like
spring.

Surprisingly, our lakes are still frozen solid.

If only a hint of blossoms could be found.

Critically, with good reason, I'm way tired of this.
Below photo taken last Friday.

And this

 Why can't it be
more

PACIFICALLY AND Alantically like, around here?
Where the waters flow and birds gather.

Spring officially arrives on 20 March.
I hope it does in reality too.

Specifically for that reason, is why I'm optimistically
waiting, but realistically,
I'm
worried!

Really, really, really REALLY worried!

To view what other folks are doing go to Cate's, Show my face blog and see it here.

Meterorologically, March 1 is when spring starts. I am looking forward to the signs as well.

I am surprised it is still so cold at your place. We didn't even receive any snow this year.

Greetings,
Filip

Oh, to be a snowbird!
Perhaps I should rephrase that :)

I am afraid to respond. I have been canoeing and fly fishing for the last month. Don't hate me.

Hi Karen ~~ There is a reason for the saying "spring is just around the corner." It always is. Here is hoping yours comes quickly. (But your snow is soooo pretty, enjoy it while you wait.)

I hope it soon happens for you. Sounds like everyone in the Northern Hemisphere is heartily sick of winter.
