Yesterday, a few bloggers I share Six Word Saturday postings every Saturday morning discussed,
Piku.
What is Piku? It's a form of poetry much like haiku. Instead of 5-7-5 format, Piku uses pi as its base. The number of syllables in each line, corresponds to the numbers of pi.
The first line of Piku contains three syllables, one syllable for the second line and four syllables for the third line, just like pi, 3.14159265358979323846.

Interesting Piku. May not be that easy. Restrictive syllable count and you've done it very well Karen!
Hank
I will have to try this- love all of yours! Cheers!

I've never heard it referred to as piku before, but I recognize the form and, in my humble opinion, you've done a great job of it. Also kudos on describing the relationship between a dog and his/her master with very few words.
That dog is as spoiled as ours.

Thank you for introducing piku in such a lovely way.
I'd never heard of the Piku, Karen, but you've used it wonderfully here. I must give it a go!
I do not comprehend the rules, yet you have created a breathing poem of it, Karen! You have amazed me again ;-)
Wonderful poem, the weevil did not know, seems like a very original structure! Yes, a good dog!
Love the piku! Thanks for sharing :)
Love the photo, but the poetry, you lost me when I was trying to sort it out and it's Sunday night after a busy weekend so I know it's not in your explanation, it's me. lol
Have a wonderful week Karen!
A pleasant way to start the week; well done.
This is wonderful Karen. And I love the Piku form! I'm going to try one today. :o) Thanks!

Wow! This is a great form! Thanks for sharing it here.
That’s a new one on me nd it looks as if your nailed it, though Haiku are not my favourite form either I admire the technical wizardry needed.
Interesting name for the dogs type writer .." writer master" ha ha , well done
I have to admit I had never heard of Piku before! Well done!
We need all good dogs and their masters to rise up and make a stand against the evil designs of the International Cat-Fancy Secret Society before it is too late. TAKE HEED!
Never heard of piku. Tricky!
Fun idea of a writing partnership between dog and master.
=)
Success indeed...
You have educated me and created a clever poem too.
They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks...but you taught me something new ina fun way...Thanks Karen. :-)
