On The Way To Tangletown
Yesterday's adventure begins at a peaceful setting.
Lakewood Cemetery lifts spirits, while celebrating memories; in matters of yesterday's stories, that otherwise would be forgotten.
Lakewood Cemetery also celebrates life with many unions of marriage taking place here as well.
The old trolley looks the same, as it did roaming the city streets of Minneapolis years ago. Today, it carries folks right along sections of Lakewood Cemetery beginning from the Linden Hills Neighborhood.
The old street car travels between Lake Calhoun and where my mother rests.
Just a few short blocks from here is Tangletown, a Minneapolis neighborhood created by Harry Wild Jones, also buried in Lakewood Cemetery.

really neat area! i like the little european red phone booth, too!
Nice shots.
But really? Getting married at a cemetery? That's a new one for me.
The statue with the man holding the sword is impressive.
Greetings,
Filip
