Six Word Saturday - 21 June 2014

LIFE HAS A WAY OF CHANGING

IN A MANNER OF A DAY

SIX WORD SATURDAY

Oops, can't use the walkway, it's underwater.

Last night's photo of the walkway along the Cannon River in Northfield, Minnesota.

OUR LIFE AS WE KNOW IT

Can bring tears and laughter at an unexpected drop of pin falling in field of daisies-
you're blindsided
and never saw/heard it coming.

You often don't see changes coming
and sometimes
it's for the better
while some are not.
Nonetheless, life keeps us in full motion.

Minnesota 101
this is not where my ancestors grew.
But it's been my home for longer than anywhere else.

My children are all grown now, each with their own family.
I'm a grandma of six most wonderful, enjoyable, lovable, funny and imaginative grandchildren.

MY ONLY WISH IS THAT MY CHILDREN
KEEP THEIR HOMES HERE NEAR ME.

It's a wee bit of a worry for me, that my one and only daughter, her hubby and their lovely (my grand-daughter) little girl might need to make a move to
ALABAMA!

OH NO!

Oh my, Alabama?! That is just too far away for me.

Is it wrong to be a wishing and hoping my son-in-law doesn't take this new job offer?

Just last weekend, during a birthday celebration for Princess Lyra.

Yesterday, just a random afternoon hanging out with Uncle Gary, cousins and me!

Great photos! Change comes with life, I don't always like it or agree with it but sometimes you just have to go with it.....

Here's my 6 :)

Sorry about the flooding! Rainy season all over again, Karen?
The family stuff is hard for you when you've been used to all the cuddles and the fun (and being a support system!) I hope it works out for the best.

The south is a wonderful world to grow up.

Just think of all the new places you'll have to take pictures when you come down this'a-way.

what a great opportunity for your son-in-law and daughter. i hope it works out the way it's supposed to. if it works out they have to leave maybe other forms of communication can be used: facebook, writing letters, etc... it won't be the same but at least you'd still have some connection to your beautiful family.

looks like you've had some rain there with all that water. it's been raining a bit here but nothing significant. mostly been hot. have a great day~

Such fun pictures except for the flood.

I wish your family close too. Sometimes we have to go where work takes us.

My only daughter moved halfway across the country to Portland, OR two years ago. I still miss her terribly. It's so hard to see them leave. Wishing you the best!
