The first of my children's book series is nearly complete. No working on it this weekend. But the creative flows will be generated immensely. Today is the Grand Opening of our new Whitetail Woods Regional Park, with live music from the Twin Cities own The Honeydogs, horse=drawn wagon rides, 5K run/walk, food and fun!
The Renaissance tomorrow- Last day of the fair too!

I always used to think it would be fun to write a book. My middle daughter has written three...and now I see that it is very hard to get them to sell if you don't have an agent! I keep hoping that someday she will be blessed with someone wonderful to promote her books!

This was interesting. I write because I need to. It just feels necessary.
So you're writing a book! Is it illustrated? Maybe you can show us some excerpts sometime. And although it would be nice to get some money out of it, I think the joy of creation is also very important.
I didn't know you were writing books - awesome! Not surprising, though, I've always enjoyed the words that go along with your pictures. Congrats and good luck!
