When Night Falls - A Thematic Photographic De-lighting!

Delighting indeed.  I am so excited that Daylight Savings this year won't happen until 2:00 am on Sunday November 2nd!

Hooray!

THEMATIC PHOTOGRAPHIC

Just a hint of dusk tugged tightly
as daylight slipped slowly
toward night fall.

Daylight fades quickly
before a gentle wind intent on littering
the walkway with fallen leaves under a shimmering
twilight sky only briefly,
just when night falls.

Just beware, when night falls, anything is possible.

"Night is a world lit by itself." - Antonio Porchia

Look under your bed.  Check inside your closets.  You just never know what you may uncover even inside your own tent!

"I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day." - Vincent Van Gogh

I just had a thought, of course after I posted this, but here's the thing that has long bothered me. Why do we have so many views on our posts and yet barely that amount in our comments? Odd isn't it?

Thank you Alexia, I adore my good witch socks too! Last year I traded them off to play a Mime not as fun for little ones! They like the Good happy Witch!

A lovely post Karen, great photos and quotes. I haven't been camping since my youth but I still love the thought of it, my bones however, would laugh at me in the morning :)

I got here eventually - must have been too dark for me to find my way. Great series of photos, Karen.
