Maybe I am Growing Up

But, I certainly hope not entirely.  Living a solid adult like existence, is not what I revere most in my life.

Sometimes, while we're focusing on one thing, another thing flies in.

The first blogger I ever followed, after joining his Thematic Photographic posts offered this post yesterday," Celebrate The Little Things" and it mirrors pretty much the precise place my thoughts have been anchored lately.

I could blame it on the new year springing to life.

My thoughts seem to be honed into this belief about those vibrant little things in life, even more than ever.  I fear age has much to do with it.  Especially, when I walk behind the very little lives that not that long ago needed my hand much more than they do now.

Walking the quiet halls of one's own mind can birth many new thoughts.

Listen to your own quiet voice.

I long to capture not just what lies in front of me, in plain clear sight, but the simple hidden somethings that often go unnoticed.

Don't let the beautiful structure before you block the gentle breeze that crossed my very path when I took this picture.

Can you see the movement?

Much like those quiet voices that have more for us to hear, than those who cannot stop talking right next to us.

It might prove to be helpful to share some of those little thankful thoughts we keep to ourselves.

Spend your moments, collecting shadows-

and unexpected emotions-

and the spirit of life around us, which lead to a life well lived.

They say the wheel that squeaks the most gets greased, but I believe otherwise as well.

This is a beautiful and thought-provoking post. I remember reading once "God is in the details." Yes, the shadows, the little bits on the edges... they all matter. And sometimes, they are most beautiful of all!

The wheel that squeaks the most has had a rough existence. LOL [kidding]

Now all joking aside, I really REALLY like the line you shared with your thoughts..."Walking the quiet halls of one's own mind can birth many new thoughts." I LOVE this thought and it definitely is a way ...a great way to view life.

I kinda' like being a grown up. I am enjoying this time in my life but.....

I wouldn't mind being a kid for a day or two. when all we had to do was play and nap. childhood is wasted on the young!!!!

I really want to smart-off something, but that would be taken as being in poor taste by most. So, I won't.
