High on a Fence Post and Good Fences

High on a Fence Post sits my newest Sneaky Gnome.  That little black object to the left is Dashiell (Dash) our youngest dog.

On a recent weekend getaway this little creature sporting an orange hat slipped into the trunk of our car. Can you believe it?   Either could Hubby!

True story, it occurred while I was collecting Good Fence photos across the street from The St. James Hotel.

Inside the city park was closed off, (as always in winter) but you can still walk all around it.

"In the morning, celebrate the beauty and warmth of sun light, in the evening, celebrate the song of silence and love of night." - Debasish Mridha

There's always such a exquisite glow about this place late at night when most folks are tucked away in their warm houses.

Making the complete circle.

Not a footprint in sight, or maybe there were a few mysterious ones!

I always thought it was sad to close parks in winter... and I miss tramping around in the snow

I like the golden glows.

I'm sure we'll be seeing closeups of dashing Dashiell in the future...right?

Interesting that the park would close in the winter, someone has been in there though clearing snow from the looks of it. So now I'm curious if they clean the snow why not keep it open for people to walk through? Baffles me.

Cute gnome, I thought he was in the trunk on purpose and you were going to take photos with him in them... just a thought. :-)

Have a fantastic weekend Karen, cheers!

Very nice night-light-moods, but why they close the park?

Odd that they close the park for winter. I guess they don't want to be liable for any injuries!
Love your stowaway!

I found it interesting that your park would be closed in winter. Your shots of it at night through the fence were just lovely. Also your new Gnome on the fence, totally adorable.

I'm obviously missing something not getting out at night. Your fences added to the allure of the night.

Does Sneaky Gnome like to drink root beer with Sneaky Snake?
