Funny thing just happened while shooting this photo some fifteen minutes ago. Notice my mysterious rainbow of colors right in my own yard? I'm hoping that shadow is mine too, I was shooting by myself.
Seriously, I'm sure we all know how this happened, but the ironic thing is this,
I was out earlier in the town of Nininger where I was searching for lights just like this. That's all I'll say for now, so I don't ruin part Two of Nininger, a Minnesota ghost town story.
As for this Hit the Road-
but lookout for the gate at the end of the pavement trick.
Hmm, the gate isn't locked and there isn't one no trespassing sign, and I'm assuming the dirt road goes to the Mississippi River, but is it private or public land?
Does Hit the River-
have the same meaning as Hit the Road- if you're in a boat?

"Hit the road" sounds like my kind of topic. I like your road photos, but the snow is about gone.
I'm hitting the road later this week to Massachusetts. I think OUR snow may be gone -- don't know about theirs! Nice shots!

i have gotten some of my best reflection pictures in puddles, they are wonderful!!
we are having the great american melt off here as well. i can see my grass again and i am thrilled. it's even starting to sound like spring!!!!

Hit the road, makes me think of our dancing. Sometimes we are afraid to hit the floor, not enough contact, strength in the ground. We need to realise it, even when we read blogs.

I imagine you are so ready for that snow to melt off of your drive. The river looks like it is up a bit..around here all the streams and creeks are full to the banks with all the rain we have gotten. That's a cool rainbow sun beam shot you got!
