Skiing Anyone- Good Fences

Here's one way to decorate and protect your cyclone fencing.
"To serve and protect."

Why would someone use skis to adorn a fence, you might ask?  Mostly because the owners of this property and business are avid skiers.  They've turned a bland and ho-hum atmosphere into a, "Let's stop in and discover the reason for the vintage skis."

Sometimes it's all about the win, sometimes it's about the skiing." - Bode Miller
But this time, it's all about skis.

"All things are possible, except skiing through a revolving door."

"If you are crashing, or hanging from a fence, you aren't skiing."

I'm guessing by those concrete blocks that this gate isn't used very often.  Maybe come spring when the paving business picks up again.

Thanks for stopping by my post for GOOD FENCES.

Now that's a funny fence! :)
And I like the one with the revolving door :D
The video I liked also, but you should change the link a little bit. There is a little box under it, if you check that, the link will open in another window. The way it is now, people are gone quick :))
Have a beautiful day

You know, you can't give away old skis, as I found when I left the Upper Midwest (but I did keep two pair--one alpine and one downhill) for when I'm visiting colder climates.

Such a clever use of the ski's for fencing. I enjoyed the little quotes (especially the one about skiing through a revolving door). Here the Ski resorts have really taken a beating this year due to lack of snow.

I used to love skiing. But I haven't gotten around to it in over five years.

Wonderful post - love the words along with the ski fence. I took a picture of furniture made from old skis - and a gate made of them too - a while back. Love creativity.
