Times are Changing

It's the call for Good Fences once again.

that's for sure.

Last weekend, I had to drive to Minneapolis to escape snow.

Yesterday.
This was no April Fool's joke, we reached 82 degrees.

"Come gather 'round people
and admit that the waters
around you have grown
(yes,the ice has melted)
and accept it that soon you'll be-

Drenched to the bone.
If your time to you is worth saving
Then you better start swimmin'
or you'll sink like a stone.

For the times they are a-changin'."
Bob Dylan

and spring has sprung.
Finally.

We did have a late evening thunder storm and rain mixed with lightning.

Mother nature fooled many Minnesotans yesterday.
70's were predicted and we got eighties!  Florida temperatures without the bugs.

Arriving at this park there was one lone boater (yeah there were white caps)
and one woman sunning herself and tossing a Frisbee for her dog.

But that too will change.

We have been nice weather here finally---which means no rain during the day. Highs n the high 50sF. Rain at night and sun during the day. We had no snow at all this winter but we seldom do anyway.
Enjoy spring and have a happy weekend

Um, you meant to say Florida temps without bugs yet--right? Nope, there ain't no forgettin' you-all's mosquitoes as big as humming birds!

I'm glad for you that spring has come to your area as well. 82 F sounds good to me when it is not humid. No bugs is great as well. But - they, too, will come.

those old fences add a special charm to the landscape...we had our first warm day yesterday and I also saw my first robin of the season. A nice way to start a day.

It sounds like a wonderful day!

We have been in the 50's and 60's and I'll take that. It has spitted snow a bit too, but doesn't last.
