Catching Critters

"Yes'm old friends is always best,
'less you catch a new one that's
fit to make an old one out of."
 Sarah Orne Jewett

SATURDAY'S CRITTERS

Hop inside my jalopy and let's catch a few critter friends.

Rock 'N' Roll with me, on the road to Crittersville I promise every step we take will offer new joys.

Live from the Minnesota Zoo we're both attentively watching each other

with only glass between us.

"Don't grumble don't stew!
Some critters are much-much
Oh ever so much-much
So muchly much-much more unlucky than you."
Dr. Seuss

They sit and sit, while we admire their commanding beauty.

But of course, without fail, once our camera comes into sight, they move on.

Below is one place you'll catch me doing the silly dance and cooing uncontrollably just to attract Francis, Eliot, Irving and George to come out and play for us.

Soon very soon, we'll be honored by our furry beloved critters.

Live from the Minnesota State Fair, if you can squeeze between the throngs of folks hovering about the CHS Miracle of Birth Center.

Sweet baby, only a few hours old.

One of my own feathered critters drawn by me.

Sometimes, we just can't help ourselves video, see here.

Some lovely critters, although I would prefer to admire a lot of them from a distance.
