Twenty-Four Carat Day

It's Monday, it's raining and yet there's always some good random fun to be enjoyed.

THE GOOD
THE RANDOM
THE FUN
Look what I found while walking through a friend's neighborhood.

(His happy owner was there too.)
THE GOOD.

"If you don't know history, than you don't know anything.  You are a leaf that doesn't know it is part of a tree."
Michael Crichton

Why not have a blast while taking in all that history?

6th Annual
Armed Forces Day
WWII Weekend

Still speaking on THE GOOD

Running your pups until their tongues hang out-
and they're still smiling!

Life is Good.

THE RANDOM and THE FUN.

Remember, All I really need to know I learned in Kindergarten?

Well, it makes perfect sense to me.

Why not, always enjoy your inner (old soul) child and
explore your wildest imaginations
every single day.

Wake up your inner cowboy -

But remember, "There never was a horse that couldn't be rode; never was a cowboy that couldn't be throwed."

Yep.
"What a difference a day made, twenty four little hours.
Brought the sun and the flowers where there used to be rain."
Jamie Cullen
(Actually, truth be told, there's still rain.)

What a difference, a day made by Dinah Washington
a video you'll be happy you saw here.

Just in case you don't recall everything we learned in Kindergarten,
this is my ultimate favorite one
 in all of our lives.

Number 14
Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam Cup: The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that."

Cute photos of children, I love the dress!

Ahhh yes, the inner child... when we let it out to play, and do this often enough, I believe this is what keeps us young.

Wishing you a wonderful week!

Enjoyed this....the historical value, the fun had, the war memorabilia the quotes...but the one that really stands out is the cowboy!! Sweet as sweet can be.

Of course the critters are always enjoyable too, they bring a smile to my sour puss.

I've missed Carmi - but posted some Spring flowers over on my site!
