Smart and Sassy- Saturdays Critters

"Man is the only critter who feels the need to label things as flowers or weeds."

"Kiss me, and you will see how important I am." - Sylvia Plath

"Plunge boldly into the thick of life,
and seize it where you will,
it is always interesting." - Goethe

"I think this place has real book worms." quoted Leah a young patron at the store.

Meet Booker, named because in the beginning of his days at Wild Rumpus Book Store, he was always trying to escape to the wild, outdoors!

Next is Iggy Peck one of two Japanese Silkie Chickens living at the book store.

Isn't she pretty?

Did someone say, dance!

Do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight, do a little dance....

"Adventure is worthwhile." - Aristotle - Just go!

Not sure which ferret this is, but it seems he's ready to play.

Can't forget those critters we ride!

Must include the when we dress-up like our favorite critter!

"Some people talk to animals.  Not many listen though. That's the problem."  A.A. Milne

That is wonderful.

I have one question...Do the chickens wear a diaper? Cause I know they poop a lot. I just had to ask!

Great pictures and a great post.

That's the cutest chicken I've ever seen! I think I would love that bookstore. What a treat for the kids --critters and books!

Booker reminds me so much of The Marmelade Gypsy that my heart stopped for a minute when I saw the photo. Perhaps he is living out his next life in a bookstore. I think he'd like that very much.
