A Little Place

There's A Little Place I Often Pass, and tonight it was bursting with laughter from neighbors toting folding chairs like armor over their shoulders, while many tussled with screaming toddlers too tired to keep up.

It's our town, with generations of families carrying on the Pan-O-Prog tradition.

for Drifting Through Life's theme- A Little Place I Often Pass

It was a superb array of vintage beauties slowly descending main street U.S.A.
2015 Pan-O-Prog Cruise Night

The occupants came in pairs mostly.  Ma and Pa somebody stepping back in time with their beloved Ford or Chevy, among other vehicles too.

"Isn't everyone a part of everyone else?"
Budd Schulberg

Ford, Chevy, Plymouth, no matter the class, they're really all automobiles.

Oh goodness this is a classic catch-

care to see a little more? What could it be?

Ta Da! Here she is in all her glory.

"Cars and cameras are the two things
I let myself be materialistic about.
I don't care about other stuff." - Louis C K

Honestly, my attention is easily distracted by cars.
Especially their license plates,
which is much like the human side
to an automobile wouldn't you agree?

Dost thou love life?
 Than do not squander time,
 for that is the stuff
life is made of."
  Benjamin Franklin

Another little place I often pass is right here.
Ice cream anyone?
It's a full service cafe too, perhaps you're hungry for a burger?

and just a matter of about 30 miles from the ice cream parlor in

Welch, Minnesota is Lake City, another little place I often pass while heading to Lake Pepin to feel the water, and scout for treasures.

What a beautiful Sunday this was, while visiting a bunch of -
little places I often pass.

I sure hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready for a great week ahead.
Thanks for stopping by.

The beauty on the way to the water to cool yourself and relax on a summer day. Hope it was not a hundred degrees there.

Beautiful places. Thanks.

Enjoyed seeing Lake Pepin, the bicycles at the Ice Cream place and the fancy cars.
Have yourself a Great Week, Karen!
Peace :)

It sure did look like a fun day...visiting the 'little places'. Love car shows....having grown up with three older brothers, you wonder why my love of cars rubbed off?!! lol

And to get away to 'feel the water' and hunt for treasures....that's ideal!!

Me, too! Except for the cars part...I never get in the Thundermobile unless I have to.

P.S. I see two Pileated Woodpeckers on a tree in the backyard here in West Virginia. They probably won't let me get a decent pic, but I can always try...

Fun car photos, but those water photos are my favorite. Between our two states, we have 25,000 lakes! I hope to get to at least one this summer. Lol
