Good Fences- Fallen But

"..she cried because prejudice outlives passion and because she was
sentimentally patriotic." - Irene Nemirovsky

GOD
SPARE
THE
TREE

Fallen, but never forgotten.

....and so it goes, a weekend of storms racked havoc in random places.

GOOD FENCES

The good thing is Rusty has a gigantic new chew toy!

.... and we had a place to hang this-

"It's not what you gather,
but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life
you have lived."
Helen Walton

I appreciate every moment you gather and scatter here.  This is a wee bit early but, Enjoy your Fourth of July celebrations and be safe.

I noticed a large, fallen, uprooted tree at a parking lot just yesterday. We had a torrential downpour with strong destructive winds ....sad to see 'em damaged.

A new chew toy? Oh my...gigantic!!!!

Glad it was a tree and not your home.

I am glad no one was injured. Falling trees are so sad to see. We are suppose to get storms with high winds. Our youngest Hannah has a birthday tomorrow (24) and she and her beau Bret went to the Royal Gorge to take a helicopter ride. I hope the wind is calmer where they are. The words you chose work so beautifully with this post. Happy 4th of July to you and yours! Please be safe!

How sad to lose your tree. That's some chew toy though. Happy 4th, still celebrating (Red, White & Blue).
