Grateful

Grateful I had a book along, but no time to read.

"Every reader finds himself.
The writer's work is merely a kind of optical instrument that makes it possible for the reader to discern what, without this book, he would perhaps never have seen in himself."
Marcel Proust

This holds true for living as well.
While living our lives we see things
we otherwise, might miss.

The Good, was sharing a few days at a Yogi Bear Campground that we've vacationed at since these grown-up children were little munchkins.

THE GOOD

Arriving back home to see my garden was alive and well.

Funny faces keeping it all good and randomly fun at all times.

It's always good to catch a Yogi cartoon before the outdoor movie begins.

"It's because I'm smarter than the average bear." - Yogi Bear

THE (truly bad) RANDOM

Randomly, in the center of my fitful reflection of wishing our weather had been slightly better-
(I took sight of one horrible situation for some poor vacationing family)

No more bad thoughts for me!

The Creative Random

Last year, there was a sand sculpture contest so this year, not so many castles or other goodies.  By morning they all disappear anyway, and sand builders begin again.

Quick Sharky, hurry back to the water before you get wiped out!

THE FUN

Lots of Jenga matches this weekend!

There was biking and golf carting-

and meeting friends while crafting.

It's great to be back from a peaceful weekend of being unwired!  I'm excited to see what you've all been up to.  I really appreciate your visits a lot, every time you share moments with me.

WONDERFUL! (It is a shame about the burning RV, though.)

This is a very interesting post Karen. The Munchkins are very cute. Horrible to come across that fire. I do hope no one was hurt.

Oh that poor family. I hope no-one was hurt. Property is one thing, lives and health a whole different equation.
And gratitude is a gift which keeps giving.

An eclectic post for sure! So tragic about the burning RV. Hope the family is okay. Really enjoyed the sand sculptures.

To have the family in the RV lose everything by fire is tragic [but I also can't help but think of insurance pay-out...hoping they get something]

Other than that...for you and YOUR family, a fun time had all the way around!! Yabba-yabba-doo
