My Interpretation

I'm joining in with
SCAVENGER HUNT SUNDAY

From
The Minnesota Renaissance Fair
in Shakopee, Minnesota

The bare bones of a traditional
Renaissance Festival

The difference between reliving experiences or reading about life from centuries long ago will determine, what's spectacular to you about a Renaissance Festival.  You always benefit from moving outside of your imagination zones and stepping into reality.

LOVE

"Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own." Robert A. Heinlein

"When you love life passionately, a cloud of beauty floats above, adding an array of wonders to even the worse of days."
Avra Amar Filion

There are those fair goers unfamiliar to the morning,
but rarely, are those that have never
experienced a lingering
afternoon at the fair.

AFTERNOON

"Spend the afternoon, you can't take it with you."
Annie Dillard

A lovely afternoon-
To turn over in the mind.

"You cannot have a positive life with a negative mind."
Joyce Meyer

See, you can sing and smile simultaneously.

Collecting flashes of sudden smiles here and there-
Accidental genius I'd say.
Laughter makes the heart merry!

There's something truly inviting about the smell of a bonfire.

Lunch time in the garden of Fairy Wing Forest.

LESS IS MORE

Realistically, not everything will be obtained in one day.
Just another reason we return again and again.

Spot the Gnome? They're everywhere.

HIGH

"Never bend your head. Always hold it high. Look the world straight in the eye."
Helen Keller

Who are you and what are you doing?

PHOTOGRAPHER'S CHOICE
Because-
We all have our own likes.

"If what's on your mind is not in your life
you should go find it."
Elena Toledo

Just remember Lords and Ladies, Knights and Jesters
there is a Festival Friday on October 2nd 2015
and
Oktoberfest 3 and 4
otherwise, you'll have to struggle through another year before
the Minnesota Renaissance Festival returns again.

Remember to feed on happiness! Enjoy life.

HI Karen I take it you photographed these shots last year a the Fair. Great atmosphere you have captured in the shots adn I like a lot of the quotes as well. it is all very colourful and I am sure great fun, You illustrated the words well. I did see the Gnome, he was very small, must have been one of out 'little people' visiting you from Ireland! Have a great week ahead.

What fun! Festivals with ferries, you bet I'd tag along in a heartbeat. I love your shots, brings the festival to life for me on this end. And I do believe I'll heed this wonderful advice: "Spend the afternoon, you can't take it with you."

Have a blessed phenomenal week Karen! Cheers.

I always love how you combine your own words, quotes and wonderful photos to tell a story and this is no exception. The post reminds me of taking the kids to the Ren. Fests when they were young. It might be time to do that again!

Thanks for your visits recently and wonderful comments. I'd reply directly if I could but for know know how much they are valued!
