Autumn - TP

By calendar autumn arrived September 23rd this year, however I returned from Alabama with anything but autumn like weather. Stepping out of the Mpls. St. Paul airport it was still 80 degrees at 10:00 pm.  That's amazing weather Minneapolis.

(of course heavy winds were on their way)

Monday, Carmi offered "Autumn" as our theme this week.
So, even if Mother Nature is still holding tight to summer, the explosion of a profusion of color is beginning, albeit rather slowly in signaling our autumn season.

The leaves have been tumbling ever so sweetly.

AUTUMN
as it is-
today.

My backyard view.

and then-

My views of autumn in Alabama last week.

Moments from Huntsville Botanical Gardens-
a lovely place that we never completely covered, even after being there all day!

Say horse, where's your cowboy?

"May your belly never grumble, may your heart never ache, may your horse never stumble, may your cinch never break."
Cowboy Prayer

A smile is the prettiest thing you can share.

"Here's looking at you, kid."

As we were leaving the Botanical Garden we captured this lovely view and had to investigate.  All other photos of this location were far from autumn views.

While checking out a neighborhood park we stumbled upon this-

I'm not picking any sides with this photo, it's just what someone left in the park.

That's it for autumn views for Thematic Photographic.  It's great to be back.  Now I'll have to check out what you've all been doing.  Thanks for stopping by.

Cool structures in the garden. It's been warm here in New Jersey as well.....it's always fun to get away, but there's no place like home!!

80 in the Great Frozen North? (Sounds like something Mar would say, doesn't it?)

Nice shots. I thought spring was my fav time of the year, but maybe fall is. So gorgeous here even now. I can step out and not turn into a soggy, 200lb bag of sweat. Ahhhh

You have a gorgeous garden (backyard to you!) And I love the tin man and tin horse! Great Botanical Gardens, and look so much fun!

Hello Karen!:) It must be a huge Botanical Garden. I like the tin man and horse and the other figures. Makes it much more fun to meander around the gardens. I think I recognize a hat I used to wear!

What a neat garden, I love the metal or tin characters, now that's creative!

80 degrees, wow! Mind you we've had some pretty nice days here as well, in just doing a quick conversion we've had a few 70 - 75 degree days here as well, 80 just sounds so much nicer than 24c lol

Have a fantastic rest of the week Karen! Cheers.

Autumn is my favorite season and October my favorite month....unless it happens to be July or December, they run nearly neck and neck.

Autumn in Alabama sure looks different from fall in Ontario! But it does have the look of the season changing.
