The Way It Is, Good Fences

Here in Minnesota we all know what's coming.
We'll be exchanging the delicate smells of the beach
and hot sand between our toes for
winter gear and clattering teeth soon enough.

So I'm reveling in the last bits of autumn lingering about.

Imagine that, blossoms abound where we put up our colored lights, so Santa can find his way.

"Now the true value of time;
snatch, seize and enjoy
every moment of it.

Yes, you're witnessing my garden hose, for the last remaining plants.

No idleness no laziness, no procrastination
never put off till tomorrow what you can do today."
Phillip Stanhope

Hello there wee little pumpkin brought to life by wee little munchkins and their colored markers.

Ah yes, we cut down a tree growing where it ought not be growing, sadly but necessary.  So like every good tree lover, we don't just hug our fallen trees, we make things out of them.

Hubby made me a chair!

Misty looking for that darn squirrel that she ran off to the trees!  Where did you go nutty critter?

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by to make my day even brighter.

Hello, it is nice you still have blossoms there. I like the cute chair and pumpkin. I wish I could borrow your Misty to chase my squirrels away. It is mild here lately, I hope it sticks around. Happy Thursday, enjoy your weekend!

Love your chair and they are amazingly comfortable too. Another nice thing is they don't blow over in the wind either!

It's a gloriously sunny, windy day here -- pretty nippy -- and I suspect that within 48 hours, if the weatherguys are right -- we'll have 4-6" of snow. So I really understand your reveling in the last lovely days of autumn which you have captured so beautifully!
