Roadside

Good morning!

How about going on a road trip?

This week is all about-

ROADSIDE

Below is the photo he offered to begin this round.

Okay, now admit it.  Surely after catching sight of this red three wheeler

you'd be immediately transported back in time, right?

"Logic only gives man what he needs," he stammered. "Magic gives him what he wants."
Tom Robbins

"The purpose of art is to provide what life does not."
Tom Robbins

Sometimes the open road mesmerizes us so much that
 we forget to look up.

Take my helping hand.

Roadside adventures
It's something that always pleases me.
It always-
aims to please me.
Pay attention.

LOOK AROUND YOU.

I know I've stumbled upon something very unique
just waiting to be discovered.

So, what have you noticed along the roadside?

Good morning, wonderful images and quotes. I like the shot of the two little ones walking down the street. I love roadtrips too. There is always something to see. Great statues. Have a happy day and week ahead!

Now I want to go on a road trip today! (But the weather is dreadful!) I really like the sculpture of the two boys playing.

I've never told you...but I have to say it. Every time I see the title of your blog I think, "21 Twits"

It's out now...and I feel so free.

You have some remarkable images. It's a great roadtrip! I'm housebound for a day and I could use an escape -- I think I just got one!

I like your angles! [ not angels - angles of shooting and looking, K]

I don't remember a tricycle, although there may have been one. I remember my gazillion pound big black Huffy one-speed, though!

You definitely found some awesome 'roadside' art/adventurous works in your photography today. I like 'em all, but I must admit there is something quite 'magical' in the two boys' backsides. That would be a grand opening for a short story.

Lovin' it.

The rockets are impressive but the sculpture of the two boys takes the prize for me.
