You Know You Are A Minnesotan

-with dogs, when you'd prefer not to have them become

frozen statues!
So you dress them accordingly-

Obstinate, easily describes their mood.

Not really being their thing, you still try to capture their human-preferred-dog-sense for winter wear.

Really Mom? Really.

Welcome to another
SATURDAY CRITTERS

and Sunday Mornings

Then you can't forget about those munchkins you have diligently waiting for some good old fashioned Saturday fun!

But the temperature outside makes you feel like you're all locked inside a deep freeze gone bonkers-

Naturally you pass going to the Minnesota Zoo-

because you know you'd test your limits of
how much cold can we tolerate- searching for more animals, outside?

So a few more lovely miles north (in your wonderfully-warm car) you head to your intended destination of

Nickelodeon Universe

Note: Proof of how things were going to be, began in the parking garage!

Ask no more.

Okay here we are, get ready to wait for a long, long time at the end of incredibly long lines.
To discover, oops, this ride is broken.

So, you look around-

COWABUNGA

"Look over there, only three children in line!"

Of course we took a moment to check out your first genuinely alive Ninja Turtle critters and took a photo with them!

The lines if anything got longer once we left the Turtles.

When the going gets rough
the tough-head out.

Where oh where can we (burn off tons of energy) playing inside?

"Happiness doubles when shared."

and so it appears

we weren't the only Minnesotans looking for

energy burning fun-time.

What else can you do right?!

"It isn't what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy.  It is what you think about."
Dale Carnegie

So, don't dwell on your weather! Be warmly-happy!

My favorite quote of his is

Right on schedule, a thaw is likely next weekend. 30s! I'm always amazed how good "freezing" feels after surviving a near-death subzero experience.

Hello Karen, I like your cute doggies dressed for the weather. Looks like some fun times were found for the kiddies and their endless amount of energy. Cute Ninja turtle photo. I hope you are keeping warm. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!

You got me humming the song "Baby it's cold outside" now. Thanks! lol

Looks like a fun place to 'burn' off the energy that being cooped up indoors at home would make a shambles of the house. Right?

As for the winter gear on the poochies? Adorable, but they don't look all that pleased. rofl

And the yorkshire/terrier statue....heck, I'd like to have THAT sittin' on my patio!!!

Stella would be so persecuted if I dressed her. Ha! It looks like you all had fun! We loved Minnesota & the North Woods!

Nothing like a hat on a critter to make me smile. Big!
