Figures of Data- Thematic Photographic

Carmi is calling for
DATA

A brief thought on data and how computers,
cameras and other devices figure into our world today.

Note: All images taken by my iPhone.  Go figure, right!

DATA

As our

theme.

"The library, with its Daedalian labyrinth,
mysterious hush, and faintly ominous aroma
of knowledge,
has been replaced by the computers cheap glow,
pesky chirp, and data spillage."
P.J. O'Rouke

This Black and White photo is in honor of,
 and sums up
 my world outside.
Well played winter.

Note of thanks: To hubby,
for being a prop-assistant in the making of this post!

Thanks for stopping by and f you feel the urge to spread a bit of your own about data, please do and post your link here.

Do what you love.  Love what you do.
Take your love and kindness everywhere you go.
But mostly, take good care of you.

When it comes to electronics I am the guy in the corner of the old school rooms with the dunce cap on his head.

Fun. Data, data, data. And that reminds me, i have multiple copies of some of my photos all piling up, taking up valuable data storage space. You should see my closets. Or maybe not.

Your pictures are great. I like the clarity. I am ashamed to admit it, but I can't go without my computer. These days I store all my photos on there, instead of on SD cards. I don't know why.

Even our libraries are full of computers now. Every detail of books you borrow is stored on their data banks. You must be more of an expert than me, Karen on using a smart phone camera.

Yes, it's rather astounding that beautiful photos taken with our cameras these days are actually just streams of data.
