I'm thinking a great way to shake the world
would be a road trip to Woodstock, Connecticut
for my

and is not intent on arriving."

If you desire historic beauties

this is certainly a perfect place to visit.

A road trip
(can be close or far away)
it's just another way to get out there
and see the whole world
that's just waiting to be noticed!
You'd be foolish to miss it.

You see what a tiny place you
occupy in the world."

Hello Karen!:) I love the back and white photo of Bowen House, it's such a great composition. The gate and fence are very nice, and I like your choice of quotes, that ring so true.

What a glorious tour - thank you so much.

I love the different definitions of "cottage". Over here, a cottage is usually a modest two up (sometimes three), two down dwelling. However, Roseland is beautiful. Thanks for sharing it.

Love that house... So far this summer, everywhere I've been I've been before. But I am planning on a trip to Cumberland Island later this month and I've not been there!

I love "Some beautiful paths can't be discovered without getting lost" - wonderful! That's quite a building - is it timber framed too?
